This year’s Social Mobility Employer Index saw 150 employers enter, with increases in entrants from the creative sector (up 43%) and the tech sector (up 60%) – both industries with a poor track record on socioeconomic diversity.
Twenty-six entrants now measure their Class Pay Gap – significantly more than last year.
The launch of the Employer Index was covered by BBC Radio 4’s Today programme, The Times, and Marketing Week amongst other news outlets.
